Narendra Mathur retired from the US Department of Energy as an Environmental Engineer. He worked to further environmental policy for the United States for 40 years, both at the state and federal level. He also served as a professor at the University of the District of Colombia for 15 years. Additionally, he has been active with the Art of Living Foundation since 1995.

Mr. Siddharth Singh is a Nanotechnologist with advanced degrees in BioMolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He has written a number of research papers on this subject, and is also knowledgeable on nanofabrication topics including thermal evaporation, photolithography, and biotechnological concepts and techniques. He currently serves on the board of Indscape Softech and Airlink Broadband as a Director, where he is responsible for the research and development of platform sensors in the field of chemical and biological detection. Mr. Singh also co-founded Connect Billions, a platform that bridges the knowledge gap between urban and rural societies. Connect Billions has created a unique Internet identity for 600,000 villages in India in order to enable information sharing, promote local arts and crafts, and allow citizens to help one another though a network of change makers and mentors.

Dr. Bharath Rayasam is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer for a Telemedicine startup company iDocsWeb. He worked as an Information Technology executive in various organizations including Blockbuster, JC Penney, Sabre, and intuit. He is also serving as an Adjunct Faculty at University of Texas, Dallas. He obtained his Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, SC and MBA from Institute of Rural Management, Anand, India. He had been associated with Art of Living Foundation for the past four years and working his way towards becoming as an AOL teacher.

Karthik Krishnamurthy is currently a Team Lead at Promontory Inter-financial Network, in Arlington VA. In addition to being an active programmer in the Java Space, he also leads teams of testing, business and software development personnel. 

Karthik has been in the software industry for the last 15 years, and has worked in the healthcare and financial sector providing technological solutions to firms such as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Navy Federal Credit Union among others.

He has an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, as well as a Master's in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.

Karthik teaches meditation and stress management through the Art of Living Foundation, with which he has been involved since 1994.

Manoj Mathur M.D. is a board-certified Physician with over eight years of clinical experience practicing internal medicine. He is currently the Medical Director at Calvert County Nursing Home and has served as the Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine at Calvert Memorial Hospital. He has been a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and American College of Physicians (ACP), and is licensed to practice medicine in both Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Mathur is actively involved in research projects that study the effects of Sudarshan Kriya Yoga on neuropsychological parameters.

Ajay’s professional, academic and personal experiences have converged to focus his attention on the challenge of good governance and ethical leadership as the heart of the development problem today. His volunteer experience with the Art of Living Foundation (www.artofliving.org) in community-driven-development, academic training in international relations and leadership, and professional experience in the private sector and the World Bank have strengthened his resolve to help developing countries improve their leadership capacities and governance systems for sustainable poverty reduction (www.worldbank.org/wbi). With a background in engineering, Ajay has a PhD in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University, with a focus on the role of leadership in alleviating state fragility. He also holds a Masters degree in Foreign Policy from Georgetown University and an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Craig Hammer, Esq., Treasurer: Craig Hammer, Esq. is a Governance Specialist at the World Bank. He manages a program, which strengthens laws, policies, and regulations that improve governance and accountability in developing countries including Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, South Africa, Mali, Morocco, Kyrgyz Republic, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Timor Leste, among others. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Institute for Human Rights, Peace and Development at the University of Florida. He has published extensively under the auspices of this Fellowship, including books, chapters, and refereed journal articles. He has been elected to the Executive Council of the Society for the Policy Sciences at Yale University, and has been appointed to the Council of Editors for the Journal of Law and Politics in Moscow. Craig is a leading advocate for indigenous peoples’ rights, and is Procurador Judicial (Abogado Defensor), or senior legal counsel, for the Shuar Nation, a 150,000 member indigenous nation in the Ecuadorian section of the Amazon Basin.

Dr. Raman Poola, M.D, M.B.A is a physician specializing in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine in Apple Valley, California. He has been involved in the Art of Living’s service programs for over 25 years.

Mr. Jeffrey Houk: Mr. Houk graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Millersville State University. He has over twenty years of experience working as a consultant in the information technology field for various Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Houk devoted his time to non-profit organizations including the Art of Living Foundation for well over a decade, working to set up best practices based on his professional experience. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Art of Living Foundation.

Hasit is currently occupied as President of Ipca's North American business operations and is responsible for business development in USA and Canada. As a part of the company’s corporate management team for many years, he is involved in making strategies and policies for the company’s growth.

He has been professionally occupied in the pharmaceutical industry with multinational and local companies before settling down in Ipca Laboratories, India. Ipca is a mid-sized generic pharmaceutical company in India with around 15,000 employees and global sales in over 100 countries.

Hasit has been walking the spiritual path as a devotee of H.H Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for the last 15 years and has been contributing to the activities of the Art of Living Foundation. He lives in New Jersey, USA with his wife Chandra. His son, Suhrid lives with his wife Kumkum in San Diego, USA and his daughter, Niyati lives with her husband Ritwik in Bangalore, India.

Bala Sivaramakrishnan (aka Saroj) is an Art of Living Teacher in New Haven, CT.  She is currently working at Fair Haven Community Health Clinic, New Haven, CT, as a Health Educator. Bala qualified as a health professional from University of Washington, Seattle, after earning a Masters and PhD degree from Yale University. Before that Bala served in the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) from 1980 -1990.

Dr. Sivaramakrishnan is Professor of Anthropology, Forestry & Environmental Studies, and Dinakar Singh Professor of India & South Asia at Yale University, where he is also Co-Director of the Program in Agrarian Studies. Before joining the Yale faculty in 2007, Sivaramakrishnan was on the faculty of the University of Washington, Seattle, in the Department of Anthropology and the Jackson School of International Studies, and Fellow of the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex, UK. He has Masters and PhD degrees from Yale University. After his earlier education in India he also worked as an Indian Administrative Service officer from 1980 – 1989. 

Mr. Virani is CEO and Owner of Nirvin Corporation. He has more than 17 years of experience in banking, commercial lending and customer relations. Mr. Virani is a board member of Care and Share Foundation in Chicago and Vice President for the Chicago Art Circle. He has an MS in Commerce from Saurastra University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.

Rajita is a humanitarian, an educationist, a writer, a leadership guide and a global leader. She is the President of the World Forum for Ethics in Business and a Board member in a number of non governmental organizations at an Indian national and international level. She helps organizations globally to achieve excellence in the fields of governance, finance & administration. She has the unique skill of creating strong coalitions & working in collaboration with the public & private sector, governments, and global institutions like the United Nations, The World Bank Group & The European Parliament. She has worked closely with global leaders including current and previous Heads of States, global CEOs and religious leaders. She is committed to creating global advocacy to inspire individuals and corporations embrace the values of ethics, good governance, sustainability & shared value. She has been instrumental in leading a number of action oriented initiatives towards this goal.

Her key current projects also include the launch of the prestigious Sri Sri University in India, global design & roll out of the Transformational Leadership for Excellence program & overseeing the administration of over 510 educational institutions in India ( including schools, a college of journalism, a college of Ayurveda & an MBA school). Her expertise lies in leading large, multicultural, multi country, diverse teams to unleash their full potential and fulfill their vision. She has trained and coached leaders of over 50 countries to rid themselves of their stress & live a happy healthy life. She travels the world extensively,addressing various international fora to advocate the message of excellence, ethics and human values. She has participated in and addressed over 100 international conferences and seminars. Before committing her life to the full time service of society 4 years ago, Rajita was a banker for 18 years with Citi. She held many international leadership positions in her career, last of which was Asia Pacific Head for Customer Advocacy & Training for the Retail Assets Business of Citibank. Her portfolio responsibility was annual revenues of 750 million US dollars, 16000 employees and over 800 branches across 12 countries. Considered an expert in the field of leadership training , she has designed 85 management exercises and learning tools released in a book "Focus Forward". She has won 17 awards for professional excellence in her field and has clocked over 1 million man hours in training and development of over 100000 participants.

Anurag is managing partner of Perot Jain LP, a private investment organization providing early-stage capital and access to an extensive network of business expertise to commercialize transformative technology and business process solutions and services in high growth industries. Anurag owns and serves as chairman of Access Healthcare, an outsourcer of healthcare information technology and business process related work. Previously Anurag founded Laurus Edutech, one of India’s leading vocational training companies which trains over 100,000 students in India in more than 200 locations. He is also vice chairman of Silent Circle, a global private communications service.

Anurag is spearheading efforts to raise awareness of AOLHET and lead the fundraising efforts for Sri Sri University. 

Anurag holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor of science degree in electronics and electrical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India. He and his wife of 15 years, Gunjan, have two daughters, Ananya (9) and Aashna (5).
